How successful is PropertyGuys.com?

PropertyGuys.com is Canada’s leading private sale franchise system with over 80 locations coast to coast, a ½ billion dollars in real estate inventory and over 35 million website hits per month!

Does the real estate market need to be “hot” in order for this to work?

No, the PropertyGuys.com system is practically recession proof! Although we have seen tremendous success during the recent real estate boom, our commission-free proposition is even more attractive to homeowners during a bust in the market, when they NEED to save money and maximum their home equity.

Does the system apply to commercial properties?

Yes, PropertyGuys.com offers a growing range of “For Sale By Owner” services that apply to commercial properties, home builders, contractors and developers. You will learn how to convert these opportunities into additional revenue during training.

Do real estate agents hate you?

Most professional real estate agents understand what PropertyGuys.com is all about and many contact us to partner in various ways. They see the shift in the real estate industry and want to get on board. Having said that, when you create change in a $100 billion dollar industry, a few real estate agents may not see eye to eye with what you are doing.

Can I own more than one franchise?

Yes. In fact, we already have some franchisees that own multiple locations. Generally, they started off with one territory and later proved to us that they deserved consideration for additional ones.

What are the steps to getting involved?

Getting involved is simple. First you must REQUEST A FULL ACCESS PASS. Once you’ve received your password, you may then review more-in-depth information about this opportunity. At this point, if you decide to move forward, you will then be asked to apply for consideration (RFC). If we like what we see, we will work with you to finalize the transaction and get you into training, where you will receive in-depth coaching and ongoing support for your new business!

Can I call existing franchise owners for information?

Yes. However, because of the amount of requests we receive, we will supply you with a current list of franchise owners you can call on once you qualify. We do it this way so as to not disturb or bombard one particular franchise owner at any given time and to protect the PropertyGuys.com franchise system.

Fees

How much does a franchise cost?

Depending on several factors including location and size, the franchising fee ranges on average between $30k – $50k per unit.

What does my franchise fee include?

Your franchise fee includes all the education, materials, tools and support you need to get started, including an intense, 3-day training session at our Moncton, NB headquarters. (Travel expenses NOT included)

Do you provide financing?

No. However, for qualifying individuals, we can offer guidance and contact information for several financial institutions who do engage in franchise loans.

What does training involve?

While at PropertyGuys.com University (PGU), you will receive a wealth of information over an intense, three day session that will blow you away. It covers everything from compliance, to sales and marketing to industry trends and so much more.

How much money can I make?

Although PropertyGuys.com is an incredible, ground-floor opportunity, we are like any other business in the sense that the success you achieve is directly proportional to the efforts you put into your business. If you are dedicated, the sky is the limit!

How long before I start making money?

Although it depends on the effort you put into your start up, you can start making money within weeks.

How do I get paid?

Franchise owners earn the majority of their revenue by selling “Private Sale” marketing packages to property owners. Our franchise owners keep 100% of their sales (excluding cost) and get paid up front every time they set up a new client. In addition, there are several other referral and partnership programs that franchisees may derive revenue from including our self service online package.

Start up

Do I require office space?

No, the majority of our franchise owners are operating as a home-based business. However, we ask that all franchise owners set a goal of obtaining a “store front” in the future as their business grows.

What equipment do I need to get started?

You will need a computer, digital camera, fax machine, internet access, dedicated business line and the PropertyGuys.com start-up package.

Do I need to hire people?

No, not right way. The majority of our franchisees launch their business on their own or with a partner. However, you will quickly see where you can benefit from hiring the right people. Head office can assist when that time comes.

Do I need to wear a uniform?

No, but you will need to dress in a professional manner. Most franchisee follow the “business casual” attire and enjoy working with a PropertyGuys.com branded golf or dress shirt.

Future concerns

Any plans I should know about?

PropertyGuys.com constantly keeps our franchisees in the “know” via our bi-monthly newsletter titled the “PropertyGuys.com Connects” as well each year we host a national PropertyGuys.com annual meeting and conferences which all franchise owners attend for future announcements, re-training and launching of our newest products and services.

What happens if I want to sell my franchise?

Franchise owners always control and have the ability to sell their franchise as long as you are in good standing with the franchise agreement. We have three selling options a franchise owner can select from when selling.
