PropertyGuys.com, a true dot com success story, is celebrating its 10th year in business by announcing the sale of its 100th franchise unit. PropertyGuys.com now has a strong market presence in over 600 communities across Canada. The New Brunswick based company is best known for helping sellers eliminate real estate commission by allowing them to reach a wide internet audience, talk more effectively with buyers and keep negotiations on track. With more than 80% of all buyers now beginning their property searches online, it is no wonder why they’ve become so popular among both buyers and sellers.
But growth is not the only thing that the company has been up to lately. They’ve begun the undertaking of rebranding their entire business system which includes a new powerful web application they say will be sure to rival any website currently on the internet. “Our new site is the best of the best,” states Ken LeBlanc – company president and CEO. Understandably, their popularity is less than celebrated among the country’s estimated 88,000 real estate agents who are trying desperately to maintain their market dominance despite a changing consumer attitude towards them. “I don’t know too many individuals that enjoy handing over so much of their hard earned money to agents – it’s just doesn’t make sense and it is not necessary,” comments CEO Ken LeBlanc who co-founded the company in 1998.
The company has launched a new communications strategy to compliment all their new marketing initiatives. “Our new straight shooting radio campaign launched last week has already sparked more than its fair share of controversy – agents don’t like getting called out,” adds LeBlanc.
