PropertyGuys.com expands into Master Franchise Agreements

May 28, 2005 – Moncton, NB: PropertyGuys.com Inc., Canada’s fastest-growing and largest commission-free private sale real estate marketing firm, has just signed its first Master Franchise Agreement (MFA).

Under the terms of the Agreement, Don Swanston and Matt Eldridge have purchased 18 franchise units in British Columbia’s Greater Vancouver area. Over the next two-and-a-half years, they will either resell the franchises, or operate them themselves.

Ken LeBlanc, President of PropertyGuys.com, says the MFA is a sign of his company’s coming of age. After establishing more than 50 franchise units across the country in less than four years, the MFAs were essential in order to control future growth and ensure continued success.

“We are dedicated to providing our franchisees with personal, hands-on support, but it’s been getting more and more difficult to deliver when a vast majority of our time is spent traveling back and forth across the country and recruiting new franchisees. Our new Master Franchise Agreements will enable us to maintain our trademark support, while continuing to realize our long-term international expansion strategy,” says LeBlanc.

LeBlanc notes that considerable care and due diligence will be conducted prior to any MFA sale in order to protect the PropertyGuys.com brand. “We will only be represented by individuals who understand and embody our mission and values: honesty, integrity, superior customer service and a determination to help homeowners retain their hard-earned equity.”
