PropertyGuys.com Opens New State of the Art Training Centre

August 16, 2006 – Moncton, NB: With the inauguration of PropertyGuys.com’s new high-tech training facility on June 22, the founders of Canada’s leading private sale real estate solution realized one more element towards their goal of revolutionizing the archaic traditions of a $100 billion/year real estate industry.

PropertyGuys.com University (PGU) – gives new franchisees the opportunity to see where the vision, culture and future lie for the fast-growing company, while they experience the energy and passion of the head office team right where they work. In fact, part of the purpose of the company’s recent move to its new 4,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters in Moncton, NB, was to create this state-of-the-art training school for PropertyGuys.com franchise owners across Canada.

The dream – and purpose – of the young Atlantic Canadian company is to challenge the powerful real estate industry that has dominated the home sale market for over 80 years. By creating the illusion that selling property is complicated and wrought with dangers for the inexperienced seller, over 85,000 Realtors® across the country were able to earn an estimated 2.4 billion dollars in real estate commissions in the first half of this year. Much of this revenue finances the propaganda campaigns that further the public’s dependence on their services. It is a fact that the majority of sales do not require a real estate agent, and many Canadians have already discovered this truth. Currently, it is estimated that one in four home sales in Canada are transacted privately. Company president Ken LeBlanc predicts that the number of private home sellers will increase to 50% of the total residential market within the next few years.

By sending forth a Private Sale army of franchisees, fully-equipped with knowledge, support and the exposure necessary to help home sellers cut out the expensive middleman, PropertyGuys.com aims to raise public awareness and rebalance the financial scales in favour of the homeowner.

With the opening of PGU, franchisees from across Canada can now enjoy three high impact days of training at corporate headquarters, learning how to operate their business and educate home owners on the simple process of selling their homes, commission-free. “By the time our franchisees leave, they have tremendous confidence in their newfound knowledge and what drives that confidence is their desire to help others,” says company president, Ken LeBlanc. “That’s what PropertyGuys.com is all about.
